We drove for hours to get there, and I needed the loo but hung on because I was at the front and didn't want to lose my place. There was a really tall girl infront and she wouldn't move so I had to stand on tiptoes the whole time but it was awesome (I would like to thank the guy who moved so I could see better- I owe you!). All the acts were great, it was perfect. I learned about a load of new bands and peformers that my Dad already knew. The highlight of the show for me was when you sang 'Sing' and everyone had the sparklers, it was an incredible moment. I also liked Mad World. When Amanda fell into the audience I ended up poking her in the armpit- I want to apologise. I was shouting out 'Christopher Lydon' quite a bit- but I don't think you heard (the people around me did, they kept giving me funny looks)

All in all it was a perfect show, and if you ever have the guts to come back to the UK, I would love to be on the Brigade.Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10474967964897952812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9394978.post-1162919835532406952006-11-07T12:17:00.000-05:002006-11-07T12:17:00.000-05:00we must get this so-called president out of office...we must get this so-called president out of office. i've recently been in the play les miserables at my high school, and it's amazing how close in comparison it is to how times are now. war, forbidden love, death.

i hate how people say that we would be nowhere without mr. bush (i refuse to title him anything bigger than mister). that is completely untrue. we would be BETTER OFF without him. it. compilation of atoms. "but he was in the military!" well that might be why its so fucked up now.

im only 14, but i have a wide range of beliefs and things. i dont agree with anyone on anything. i'll let them be ignorant right-winged fucks, but i'll let them know what i think about the situation.

my goals before i die are to make the world a better place i.e. help third world countries out before you try to shoot up their homes and families leaving them with nothing. and to become a musician and to share my music with people in the world.

thanks for the space.

-libbyLibbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05409091173091224078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9394978.post-1162912812953550942006-11-07T10:20:00.000-05:002006-11-07T10:20:00.000-05:00after this weekend you will never get rid of me. ...after this weekend you will never get rid of me. i will stalk your uk gigs relentlessly. how did you slip past me? friday rocked (despite spending 4 hours in casualty) saturday just blew me away. i can't stop coming out with gushings about you guys - my students are bored of hearing you blast out of my classroom every time i'm in here by myself. i'm gutted i didn't have the guts to come back stage with pixie and say 'hi' ... i'm a tad on the shy side ... maybe some other time.
but thank you thank you thank you ... for simply existing!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9394978.post-1162845518007131552006-11-06T15:38:00.000-05:002006-11-06T15:38:00.000-05:00I was there friday, it was awesome. The best part was the dancers in "Gravity" or everyone joining in for "Sing", a great song (no matter what anyone says).

Met Jason Webley outside who was fantastic and got one of his CDs. Thank you for such an event. Can't wait for the DVD.

Zen Zen Zo were just amazing. I just wanted to take home the girl with the red hair.

I have loads of pictures at my Bitsy Ramone blog. Feel free to use any that you want for the DVD or anything else. To have seen you on the steps on your journey from support to NIN at the Astoria, playing the Download festival, headlining your own sell out gig at the Astoria and then this triumph at the Round House is something I am very proud to have experienced.

The whole evening was great. The entertainers you had moving around the place were great and helped provide a great atmosphere in the crowd. The support acts were brilliant, with Jason Webley and Baby Dee being the stand out musical acts for me on a great and varied bill of support that you had put together.

Then there was you guys, I can only describe you set as Epic. Both of you put every ounce of effort you could muster into your set, you must have been running on empty by the end! It was a real treat to hear The Jeep Song played live. Also, never mind the chap at the bar who was yelling War Pigs, I was much more thrilled to hear Delilah and Sing instead!

I was lucky enough to be at the Round House with a couple of friends who I got into your music after the NIN gig, it was their first Dresden Dolls gig and they loved it!

It was truly a pleasure to share the evening with you. I hope the DVD does it justice. Here is to seeing you guys again when you have recovered!Crowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15009259304081836568noreply@blogger.com
