avril's new clothing line.

i am wicked disappointed.

this shirt, shown above, states:

"ROCK N ROLL
(ROCK N ROLL)"

i am confused. this shirt seems like it was designed for non-english
speaking tourists buying shirts off the street of midtown new york.

c'mon, avril.
what up with this shitake?

post war trade forever.

  1. The pink shirt ghastly. For real, ecck, who needs shirts when there's southern comfort?

  3. Isn't the whole idea of a punk rock clothing line an oxymoron?

  4. I kinda like the one with the suspenders...I suppose that makes me a terrible person. :) The rest is pretty hilariously awful though.

  5. It's not like I know her or anything but this whole vibe just seems so different from the Avril of a few years ago. What the hell happened? Who Killed Avril Lavigne?

Well, as long as she's happy...if she is.

    All my love,

    Andrea

    I am not surprised...?

  7. I liked it better when Pete and Avril's lines were still called Alloy and Delia's, respectively.

    Sukkas!!

    ...

Clearly, Avril's at the peak of fashion innovation. Would Post-War Trade offer 'rock n roll CAPRIS?'

    I THINK NOT, SIR.

At $36, no less! You're telling me I can look like rejected trailer trash AND waste my money in the process? Hallelujah!

    ...

    PWT > Delia's/Alloy/Pete/Avril

  8. To whoever said "Isn't a line of punk rock clothing an oxymoron?", I seriously couldn't have put it better myself.

  9. Wow that is surprisingly ugly. Like she went back to her teen angsty must-wear-at-least-600-studded-bracelets-to-give-the-hint-i'm-a-punk-rocker style.

  10. It's very bright! I don't think she'll be considered much of a style icon after this.

  14. I also just saw the video for Runs in the Family and had to go on this blog to leave a comment...and Dunno has beaten me to it in describing my feelings exactly...Amanda, i am also speechless, both the music and film blew me away and broke my heart. everytime i think i couldn't possibly love you more, you totally outdo yourself. this is your finest work...i don't think i have anticipated an album this much in the last ten years.
thank you for being so real.

  15. Well, the clothes are for "juniors" according to the website , so I guess that explains some of the cheese factor.

When does the postwar trade go for launch? Every time I go to the website, it asks for a password. Maybe I just missed something...?
